Companies are used when creating a pay stub and for some work locations where local taxes apply. Note, companies are optional and not needed for any calculations. 

When creating a company inside PaycheckCity Payroll you can input a variety of information:

  1. Name of Company. 
  2. EIN (Employer Identification Number) also know as a Federal Tax Identification number. 
  3. Location information of company including, Address, City, State, and Zip Code. 

To make a company, navigate to Start in the menu bar and click "Companies." 

Then, click on the add a company button. 

Provide the company information.

Finally, click "Save.

Now that you have created a company, when you run a calculation, just select the company for the scenario you are running and all of the company data automatically populates into the calculator, saving you time and effort.
