Steps to add overtime for an employee

Add overtime for hourly employees in payroll

  1. Go to App Settings, and under the "Hourly Employees" section toggle the Show Overtime on.

  2. Click "Save Changes".

When you run your payroll, you will now have an “+ Overtime” button under Additional Wages.

Add a default hourly rate for overtime

  1. Go to Employees and click on employee name.

  2. Click on “Wages” from the menu on the right.

  3. Enter an overtime rate.

  4. Click “Save changes”.

You can follow the same instructions for doubletime, sick leave, PTO, vacation and holiday hours.
